Today I met with some other educators in The Network, formerly Michigan Network of Educators, which consist of a group of educator leaders from the Teacher of the Year, Milken Award Winners, National Board Certified teachers, Presidential Award winners, etc.   The focus of this meeting was planning for the annual banquet which celebrates educators that received awards through the year.  Yes, that will include me!  I will be giving a small speech at the banquet held in Lansing on December 13.  There will also be a conference the next day and it will be a great opportunity to network with other educators.  I have heard great things about this event and look forward to it.  I will share what the event was like in a future blog!
