I was invited by my Superintendent to present on what I have been doing at Michigan Teacher of the Year.  I was excited to share all the exciting things I have been doing, and after preparing, I saw that my 10 minute presentation would be over an hour!  So I narrowed it down to a couple highlights each month.  It really gave me a chance to reflect on the many things I have done over the past 9 months, and I had to sit back and smile.  It has been so wonderful to meet so many dedicated teachers, share my story, and present on topics I am passionate about.  I am truly blessed and thankful for this opportunity as MTOY!
